brake light on when trying to start?
is this normal? my brake light on the dash comes on when I try to start my car, only in the full all the way to crank over position, and it doesnt crank. I have been posting about cranking issues and fuel issues lately on here and the cranking issue is the last one left, but I'm just curious if this could be my no crank problem. I need to know if it is normal for just the brake light to come on whent in the crank position. should be easy for someone to answer as you start your cars all the time. thanx guys, looking forward to response on this. Also if it isnt normal any suggestions on what to check out would bery very much appreciated.

Car Is Not Cranky, So I Am
It’s normal for the BRAKE dash light to come on while trying to crank.
RE: No cranking, if the SECURITY light does not come on and stay on while cranking:
Bring a voltmeter or test light into the cockpit using long wires and connect those wires to ground and the solenoid terminal.
When trying start the car are you getting power there?

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards
When you see fog or “running” lights on in good weather beware. WLow performance driver ahead.
How bout those nitwits too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime
and the nitwits that need headlights for a little rain
