on the part thats almost directly behind my engine what is suppost to be plugged in there?, and those 3 black boxes, are they hard to replace? the PO left the car in a field and it got a rats nest right infront of those and they chewed some of the wires in half

i'm confused. are you asking for which relays you circled, or are you asking if there's something missing from the pic?

Re: what is suppost to be here?

well the first obvious question is if the wipers work... but nothing there will stop the engine from running

Re: what is suppost to be here?

The big black box, as previously mentioned is your wiper motor, the prongs you feel on the left side of it, most likely is where your washer pump goes, D*** rats really did a number on you, huh... I'll see if my manual list something for your model...

Re: what is suppost to be here?

and when you replace the realays and still no pump noise replace the fuel pump it will run mine sat for 12 years before i got it in january you can also try hitting the the gas tank to free up the pump but use a hammer and peice of wood so you dont puncture the tank

after this website helped with the troubleshooting the fuel pump issue mine happen to be bad on top of the knuklehead work the po did and a new set of injectors the car runs great

my fuel pump turns on when i turn my key on, and the one that has a wire chewed threw is the one closest to the fender, the others looked fine unless they got them down farther

Re: what is suppost to be here?

Compressor clutch control

Ive seen the relays moved around quite a bit. Check wire colors instead of location to ID the function

AC will be small wires of greens and pink. It will have no red, gray, or large gauge wires

Wiper motor, it has two connectors, the big one you see there and one small 3 wire connector almost behind the engine. Those are included in the light harness

Re: what is suppost to be here?

Check to see if the wiper arms move at all by hand. It could be that the NYLON drive gear (WTF is it with GM and nylon gears?) in the wiper motor has been wiped out. LOL. Anyways, my ex-brother-in-law and my sister had a problem with this on their second gen Camaro (that I really wish I had right now) and they had to get a new wiper motor.

If the arms don't move, they could be bound up by rust or some other crud hiding in the cowl. Remove the cowl and clean everything nicely (I'm sure there's something in there with as long as the car has sat).

the arms moves if i move it by hand, that mean the nylon gear is gone on this too??

Re: what is suppost to be here?

Probably. Or they could be loose at the drive arm under the cowl screen. There is an arm connected to the motor shaft that connects to the rest of the linkage through 2 screws. Make sure they aren't loose, missing, or stripped. Also make sure that the arm is connected to the motor shaft.
