84 camaro......electric fan controller wiring.

I have an 84 camaro that has seen a ton of upgrades, the latest of which is an electric fan. So I bought an adjustable fan controller from Derale performance and am ready to install it, the problem is that the instructions call for me to connect the yellow wire to a positive(+) switched ignition source. Is there a power source(switched ignition) under the hood that I can tap into? Or do I need to go to the fuse panel? If the fuse panel is the only option, which spot in the fuse panel would I use?
Thanks a bunch fellas,

You can connect it to the coil primary 12V input, however use a relay.

That car might have an empty space where the FAN fuse would be with certain engine options.

Use a 30 amp fuse unless the manufacturer recommended otherwise.

Anyway you want to use a hot in RUN wire from the fuse block.

It’s a
12 AWG orange wire.
