new Car new problems :( alternator??? i think nt plz adv.
I just bought an 84 Camaro berlinetta v6 and I have 2 jumpstart the car 2 get it started and if even after i drive it around with no problems after i cut it off i'll try 2 start it and.... nuttin batt. dead????

ya I would say check the battery and if it looks older swap it out, a little while back mine was having that problem, got a new batt and everything ran smoothly

Check the voltage at the battery and alternator with the engine running. Alternator may be shot, but sounds more like the battery is toast.

If you don't have the tools, most auto parts stores will test the battery and alternator complimentary (hoping they can sell you a new one).

yea the lady i bought the car from said it was new looks like it but eyes get lied 2 all the time
