Re: spark plugs

Our cars run best with plain-jane AC/Delco R43TSK plugs. Rapidfires are overpriced for nothing in our engines. Bosch +2 and +4 plugs are pretty much the same, and they don't ever do as advertised. As my shop teacher told me, "Autolites but they don't", and Champions belong in lawn equipment (and Dodges).

As a general rule, keep the plug the engine was designed for: AC/Delco for GM, Autolite for F0rd, Champion for Crapler, and Denso for Jap crap, along with Bosch for Euro stuff.

Re: spark plugs

They're about the only thing I would buy at NAPA... They seem to be cheaper there than anywhere else. You were probably looking at the Rapidfire platinums.

Re: spark plugs

What plugs were you looking to get? The only time I've ever paid $8 a plug was when I made the mistake of putting Bosch Platinum +2 plugs in my 2.8 (which got junked with the engine when it blew). I pay $12 plus tax a set for mine.

Re: spark plugs

either champions or delcos, but im prolly going to run the delcos since they are made for our engines, the delcos are $2.09 a plug so its prolly ging to be about $12.50
