Axle/Gears: beats me

PS switch

Was looking at my car today and noticed that I have a switch located in the power steering line :duh:

What in the world does it do? My Clilton's manual has nuttin'.

basically tells computer when ps pressure is hi so it can compensate w/an increase of idle speed and disable compressor clutch so vehicle doesnt stall at idle.
