Starter problems...
Hi!
I wonder what is up with my starter.
I started my car for the first time after winter and it started great. Then I turned it off and and went inside to get my HID kit.
When I came back and tried to start it again it tried to start and then made a loud cracking sound. Was like the starter didn't hit the flywheel correctly..?
I tried to start it again after a while the car stumbeled to start. The idle was a bit rough for a while but then it went back to normal.
Is it time to change the starter or what? Please help me.
(Sorry if my english is a bit bad )
((EDIT: I just noticed I posted this to the wrong section, sorry
))

Starter Starting Not To Start
Well the idle is not related to the starter.
The first time you tried to start it this year probably lowered the battery voltage.
You should let it run to charge the battery.
Now that you broke the winter ice, and you make sure the battery is charged, try to start it 10 times in a row.
If the starter sounds good each time, it was probably just a problem from lack of use.
