disabling alarm door locks wont work.
I had this crappy alarm that came with my car that lights would blink.till i pressed the button like 2 or 3 times then it would be armed and it was just a hassle and crap.SO i just took the connection off from the battery and the power door locks stopped working looks like a hackjob install.The alarm i want to remove looks like the main part of it is strapped to steering column under dash how do i fix this.

Remove the PO hunk of junk.
Now, when you press the door lock switches do you hear the relay click?
If no, use a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) to probe the orange wires going to lock buttons.
Is there power there?

I'm in the middle of doing a swap so nothing is connected at the moment thought it woudl be a good time to just remove what i need to and maybe just rewire completely?
