Firebird headlight motor runs on.

I have a 1992 Firebird Formula that I bought as a basket case. It's nearly back together and I've found a headlight issue. When you hook up the battery, the headlight motors start running and will stop after several seconds (no movement in the lights). When you turn on or off the headlights the motors will run for several seconds after the lights are up or down. When you start the car the motors run for several seconds (no movement in the lights). The lights do go up and down when they are supposed to, just the motors running on concerns me. I'm sure someone has the answer. Thanks.

This is what you are looking for......
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-92...item335ddc923d

Shop around you should be able to find the kits cheaper without the large gear and just with the 3 plastic bushings....(3 bushing PER headlight), so look for a kit that has 6 bushings! I paid $6.00 CND about 3 years ago.

Good Luck!
