does anybody know if there is a differance with the oil pressure sending unit on the digital dash trans ams? I just change out my motor in my ta and now my gauge wont read..I had this motor in my iroc and had great oil pressure, now that I put it in my digital dash ta it does'nt even read... any help would be great... thanks

 

Possibly.
Have you tried grounding the OP switch wire at engine to see if gauge still works?
Usually you have to use a sender unit that is compatible with the gauge

 

no.. but I will..I had it in my iroc and worked fine,but then when I swapped motors I didnt even think about switching the oil pressure sending unit..I just figured they were the same..

 

Look up both cars on a parts website like www.rockauto.com and see if they show the same part number.
