Re: MANUAL WINDOWS CONVERTER TO POWER HELP
Switches on the center console are for power windows, and power hatch release in the center.
Power Lock Switches are on the door panels.

Re: MANUAL WINDOWS CONVERTER TO POWER HELP
Hello Camaronewbie:
You answered a question I had as well. I'm looking at power windows for my '89 RS and knew the switches were on the console but not exactly where. No photos are to be found anywhere it seems. So, they're on either side of the hatch release button, correct? I thought that might be where they are but it seemed it would make it easy to grab the hatch button in the center instead of the window switch if you driving down the road and not paying attention to which one you grabbed. Might be embarrassing to say the least. I doubt there is anything (since I've not had a reason to attempt it) in the electronics in a vehicle this early that would prevent the hatch coming open with the car moving. Anyway I digress, they are on either side of the hatch release correct? Thanks in advance.

Yes - pass window switch on far right, and driver window switch far left, and hatch in center (you sitting in driver seat). Actually - the rear hatch switch is rigged through the Neutral Safety Switch, so the hatch switch does not have any power to it unless the car is in Park (or Neutral in a 5sp) - so the hatch won't open while flyin down the highway - test it (at a slower speed of course
