Speedometer wiring help.

I have a '92 Firebird Formula. The engine is a 350 from a Chevy truck and the trans is a 700R4 from an unknown donor. I bought it mostly apart. I've gotten it drivable and the speedo doesn't work. I went underneath and the VSS has no wires going to it. There are no connectors anywhere to be found under there. What I need to know is, where do these wires go after leaving the VSS? Do they come from the engine bay? From inside the car? From a virtual link to an alien spacecraft?

Speedometer Reads Zero? Just Keep It Floored!

Because it’s a 92 the setup should be:

The VSS goes to ECM pins B9 & B10.

Use B9 as the case side of the VSS.

The ECM output goes to pin 8 of the left dash connector.

That wire might be there, should be a
gray wire, you’ll find out after you wire the VSS.

Happy Racing!
