Speedo problems

I swapped out my 110 mph cluster out for a 145mph cluster about 6 months ago and have had no problems with it till now or should i say this month. It may be the Texas heat but my speedo tach works perfect at night but during the daytime I noticed it either does not work at all or is flashing back and forth from zero to current mph. Is there a way to fix this?

During the day I would say it has a 30% chance of messing up on me but it is getting more often over the past month.

Re: Speedo problems

OK it's gotten worse now it messes up a lot now.. I noticed my odometer doesn't work while the speedo is glitching up on me. Bad cluster or is it something else causing this?

Re: Speedo problems

Yeah, mine is stock, but it works randomly. Sometimes I think I know when it doesn't and does work (night and day) but then it just seemed when I was running late for work it wouldn't function. I'm not sure.. the Tach doesn't work either, or the Oil Pres. I don't know if it's the VSS or the cluster. It's electric, and I am a novice on that. Also, sometimes it seems that when I use my turn signals it causes the Speedo needle to fluctuate, then when I turn off my turn signal it is either fine again, or drops.

Who can help us? It's aggravating.

Re: Speedo problems

Mine is just the speedo thats messing up but I'm going to swap my 110 mph back in and see if it is the cluster or not.
