need help with vss - have no speedometer

I recently changed my 91 Z28 transmission from an automatic to to t5, when I bought the car it had a 350 turbo instead of the 700 r4 that was original for the car and the wires for the vss had been cut or so it appears as I can not find the yellow and purple wires anywhere, so I have not had a speedometer since I bought the car, I bought a Dakota Digital SEN 01-1 sender unit that will actually use the existing cable driven speedometer that is in my t5, but I have No clue how this thing wires up, says Black to Ground ( to the Gauge ) and White to Speed signal ( to the speed input ) when I call them all I get is the runaround how this will read my speedometer a little higher then it needs to be and how I need to buy another item that will make it accurate, I really don't care if the speedometer is off I could figure out how much it was off if I could get it working, I would greatly appreaciate any assistance

Re: need help with vss - have no speedometer

Find an electric VSS for a T5 and run the two wires directly to your ECM
