Is there a certain diode that should be used with the AC compressor? More specifically a compressor from a 90 camaro?

Thanks, this is all I think I lack from wiring up my AC

A 1N4004 should work, probably doesn't need to be that big even.

Re: AC diode? Certain one?

hmm,

radioshack shows that they have them for $1.

Now Im just debating on getting one and wiring it up without the proper connector, or paying $10 to get a proper connector and have it look better.

Not sure, I like the cheap route, but I dont want it to look rigged.
