Car: '83 Camaro Berlinetta
Engine: 305 with aluminum heads, voodoo cam
Transmission: 700r4 auto
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt w/ 3.73 gears
headlight switch

hey, i have a 83 berlinetta with the regular dash cept it has 2 needles on one gauge (kph & mph) but at night time when my headlights are on, the dash is barelyyyyyy lit up. if i swivel the headlight dimmer **** it doesnt do anything..should i replace it or what could be the prob.? im thinkin of puttin LED'S in the dash, but are they costly?

Nope, you can get LED replacements for only 79¢ each.

However you’ll still have to address the dimmer problem.

At the very least you’ll have to jump the rheostat so you can light the LED’s fully.

yes LED's are pretty expensive. I am redoing my interior dash lights with LED's also and a pack of two at pep boys is like 7.99. what NINA is probably talking about are replacement factory lights, but LED's are costly but they look great. I personally have blue and I love them

mmm ok. ill prolly just get new replacement lights, but i think my dimmer might be bad as well, they light up only sometimes when i turn the ****.
