I am little confused, do I have to the the IAC adjustment when I install a new IAC?

if you mean that by the way of jumping the 2 terminals on the diagnostic connector to put car in diagnostic mode, waiting 30 seconds, disconnecting the iacv and set timing connector, then start the car, remove the jumper wire, or paperclip , and set it by turning the idle screw to increase or decrease rpms, then maybe. Id install it, and see how it idles first, if its good, then dont mess with that procedure, thats my honest opinion. (Id double check on the exact steps, havent done it in a while)

Yes by everything you said, i guess i didnt want to mess with the idle screw, the car idle pretty well until it got to operating temp. so i will try installing it and running it without messing with the idle screw.

I've replaced mine twice (first one fell apart) & never adjusted anything & no worries afterwards.


But if your gonna get a new one anyways, go ahead & do this.....
