the whole setup looks a little different than my bird, but the color of the wires are the same as my power antenna wires.

Hmm doesn't have a power antenna, but guess it could have been replaced if it broke.

Power antennae. Even on power cars got the wiring, the unit was the option
Alot of power cars today will have the wires cut and a fixed post installed as a cheap repair to a broken antennae
Id unplug and discard that pigtail from the relay before something shorts out
