any ideas on where i can find one? or is there a way to test if it is bad? because my car keeps throwing codes 42 and 43 i was told to try changing the knock sensor but that diddnt fix it. my boces teacher told me to try changing the esc module but i cant get it from work (advanced auto parts)

Autozone shows one at $50+ but I think you'll find that the ESC is not the problem, it's a pretty hardy piece. But if you want to try a used, known good one, I can send you one for the cost of shipping, maybe $5?. I have one or two from some 305 to 350 swaps. It'd be next week before I could send it though, I'm out of town through the weekend.

Are there any other symptoms? Does you tach bounce?

Re: electronic spark controll module

no tach bouncing the only other issue i was having with the car was that whenever the car would warm up ( after a cold start) the rpms would jump up about 5-600 rpm and the engine would rev. and that would be awsome but the motor is out of the car because it was crashed and i think the problem i was having contributed to the crash. im going to be using this motor to put into the new chassis i bought but i want to make sure any problems are fixed with it before i put it in the new car
