Re: TBI--power to injectors

If the ignition circuit has not been changed, and the starter turns, then it should not be a VATS issue. Is this on the 1988? Because I thought VATS didn't start until 1989.

Re: TBI--power to injectors

Checked it and I am getting close to 12v on the "A" side of each injector harness, but nothing on the b side. What do I do now? And what would be the most likely cause of this?

Re: TBI--power to injectors

maybe it could be my ignition control module? I did recently drop my distributor in the driveway and it is severely rusted everywhere..gonna go to autozone tomorrow and get it tested..in the meantime, what else should I look for? Anything will help

Injection Perfection

Disconnect the 4 pin connector at the distributor.

Disconnect both injectors.

Connect a test light
(the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) across one of the injector connectors.

Put the key in the RUN position.

Using power thru a small light bulb, such as a side marker, probe the purple/white wire on and off with the probe.

Does the injector test light blink?

Happy Racing!

How bout those too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime and the ones that need headlights for a little rain
