90-92 tach compatibility
I've got got a 90-92 style 140mph gauge cluster that has a tach that stays pegged all the time. I also have a 110mph cluster that I'm not using that has a tach that works. I haven't taken them apart yet, but will I be able to just switch the tach circuit boards between them? I'm thinking they'll be the same but just want to double check before I rip everything apart..

A Tach The Problem
Yes the swap will work as long as both boards were calibrated for V8s.

Re: 90-92 tach compatibility
Yup, should work as stated above. The fix for these tachs is so simple its crazy. Took me ~30 minutes from start to finish and that included fumbling around with the dash.

Re: 90-92 tach compatibility
Both were v8's, thanks! If I have extra time this weekend I'll give it a shot and try to fix the bad one first and see how that goes.
