Engine: 327 with holley 4bbl
Transmission: T-5 WC
Axle/Gears: 3.42 non-posi
90-92 cluster in 82

Wondering what all needs to be one for this, it seems to me that it would be pretty straight forward, am I right? I already know about the cable driven speedo issue, going to get a VSS signal converter for that.

No. Because the two clusters, 82-89 and 90+, are different shapes, you'll have some serious modifying to do.
