OK, found plenty of stuff that lists where the headlight buzzer is.
Already know where it is, and already removed it.

After doing to trip odometer fix (https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...-fix-pics.html), which involves pulling the cluster, and for me, dropping the steering column to put it back.

After putting everything back together, the buzzer comes on like normal when you start the car, but it doesn't turn off.

Here is my question.
I opened the buzzer itself up and seen that there are ALOT of components for a buzzer(which may be normal being it was designed in the 80's). Is there any negative effects on the electronics or other areas in the car if it is removed and never put back? I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but would still like to know if anyone ran into any problems doing so.

Door chime, headlight warning chime, radio chime all in-op. If you arent careless in leaving your electronics on when the car is off, youll have no problems. I prefer to have the buzzer removed because it grates on my nerves

you can leave it in line and just pull the meta disk in it so that it cant chime makes it easier on you, 4 screws IIRC and a simple fix

 

i pulled my buzzer because it got tired of it buzzin with the parking lights on sittin around hanging out

mines been out for 9 years now, dont miss it one bit

if your ever on I-10 in harrison county mississippi look for the seat belt chime out of my box truck, i got tired of it chiming all the time so i unhooked it and tossed it out a 75mph

 

Thanks for the replies, I wasn't really worried about it, but as they say "Better safe than sorry."

The metal disc can be removed by popping the clips on the little black box, the 4 screws your referring to are for the panel removal to get to the convenience center i think.
