which ecm to use??

i'm looking at an 88 iroc with a 305 TPI and T5.

he has a complete 350 TPI engine to go with it but i don't know if he has the ECM or not.

i know the 350 had an auto behind it so i don't know if i should use the ECM for the 305/T5 or use/find an ECM from a 350 TPI.

either way, should i have to re-program it or should i be able to use stock parts?

Re: which ecm to use??

You should only need to change the eprom. Check Ebay for a 350 prom, your prob not going to find one for a 350/MT as i dont think that combo was ever made in 88 but i could be wrong. Just get one for an automatic it will work fine. Or have your prom reprogrammed for a 350. check out www.larryselectricsite.com if you call they can normally reprogram your stock chip.

Make sure you have a 350 TPI knock sensor to make the eprom ( 305 is different )
