changing coil type

On my 94 is it possible to change from a two connector coil to a single like the 96?

We my friend are 3rd gen cars here (1982 - 1992). Although some of us also own 4th gen cars (1993 - 2002), very few do, and probably fewer still (like myself) know enough about them (I own a 1997 Z28 - but have no real clue about coils as mine is a LT1 V8 and the Optispark system that I choose to stay away from).

Your best bet is to locate a 4th gen discussion/tech board.
