1157 front marker led question
anyone here familiar with LED bulbs, here is a question for you.
I had some 12 LED 1157 bulbs in my front turn signal housings on my 89 camaro.
they worked perfectly fine except for the fact the light output was only 15 degrees and didnt make any use of the housing they live in.
Today I recieved my new 360 degree LED 1157's and plugged those in. they do not light up at all with my running lights or headlights on. however, they do work when my blinker is active like they are supposed too..
if I pop my old led's back in, they work just fine still..
I did some research and found my led bulbs that do work, their mA draw is listed as 60/13 however my new LED bulbs are listed as 35/115 mA.
think the difference in draw has some kind of effect? and if so, how can I test or remedy this issue?
all my other exterior bulbs are LED as well. I also run the electronic flashers.

U Better Be Qwik, This Is A DRAW !
Draw has nothing to do with it.
It sounds like the marker contact isn’t touching.
Most times a drop of solder on the new lamps's marker contact to build up that area will cure the problem due to the fact there might be a small size difference in the contact mass.

How bout those too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime
and the ones that need headlights for a little rain

That would be all good and dandy, except my old bulbs work fine, and what chances are there both sides have the same issue.. come on now...

Re: 1157 front marker led question
Have you tried the in-line resistors for LED lights? Or possibly the flashers that are listed as LED compatible? Something along these lines:
Load Resistor
Or
LED Flasher from NAPA for 3rd Gens
