VATS bypass module wiring help!

my vats seems to be toast, so i picked up one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-VA...item3361cd0bed with the duel frequency option, but now im stuck on wich out put i need to use on my car (89RS camaro 305 TBI). the instructions dont say how to tell wich one the car needs so if anyone can give help with this or has used one it would be great.

Re: VATS bypass module wiring help!

Do your instruction tell you what the options are? Everywhere I search the internet I see two frequencies, 50Hz and 30Hz. Seems the 50Hz is the standard.

Try one, doesn't work then try the other.

Re: VATS bypass module wiring help!

Won't hurt anything - either the ECM will get the right signal and fire the injectors, or it won't.

Re: VATS bypass module wiring help!

I just bought an '89 RS with the 2.8... It didn't have the original key switch or any kind of switch for that matter... I bypassed the starter enable relay... Now i have to get the right signal to the fuel... With that being said i was wondering if the bypass from backerelectronix requires the factory key or will i be able to get my car going with it? Someone... Anyone.... please help me... thanx
