Battery size/style? 88 V6 Camaro

Quick question .. what size battery does the car hold and is it side or top post? I'm going to look at one tonight so I don't have a batt to compare.

Thanks

Look at your cables - do they have side-post ends or top post ends? Most 3rd gens should have side post, but if a previous owner changed it ...

When looking at front of battery, pos should be left side, neg right side - "front" of a battery is the side with the brand label on it. You'd want minimum of 550 cold cranking amps - think mine is 800 CCA.

Otherwise standard car battery, same physical size as 99% of them.

Don’t know the original size, but Group Size 75 fits.

Side post as stated and you ALWAYS want to double your cubic inches with cold cranking amps. So if you have a 350 you would want a minimum of 700cca I prefer MORE
