Which knock sensor???

Hey guys i did a search but i couldnt find anything that was pertaining to what i was looking for. ok... i have a 1990 trans am with 305 tpi that has swirl port heads on it and about ten years ago the knock sensor was replaced by the owner well, the engine died and he bought a reman engine from advance and he used all the original tpi electronics on the new engine. heres my dilemma...i need to buy a knock sensor cause mine is bad what is the difference between the two sensors? and which one do i need? here are the part numbers from autozone and oreilly for the lb9 and l03... that was long but thanks for reading and any help that you can give me

the Zone
89 trans am lb9 su121
90 trans am lb9 su150
89 camaro rs l03 su121
90 camaro rs lo3 su121
oreilly's
89 trans am lb9 2ks26
90 trans am lb9 2ks27
89 camaro rs l03 2ks26
90 camaro rs l03 2ks26

Re: Which knock sensor???

Your engine is NOT an LO3 - so you can eliminate those - LO3 is a TBI motor, not TPI.

I see AZ has a different part number for 1989 and 1990 - if your car's ECM is a 1990, then I'd get the 1990 part (which is the SU121).
