"Voltage Stabilizer"?

Is there any truth as to what these things are supposed to do, or are they another gimmick to get people to spend money similar to the "electric supercharger", gas line horseshoe magnet, and the Tornado air swirler? Not really interested in buying one, just out of curiosity...

Sorry, dude, no mention of the thing in there... It's all PROM enhancements. I'm sure it's just a gimmick, but I was curious. Try reading the stickies yourself before being a smartie...

My appologies. I didn't really read into what you were talking about. I assumed the voltage thingy you were talking about was one of those TPS enhancers or whatever they're called. Either way, they're all crap. 'Bout as useful as those dumb magnetic bracelets that realign your body.

Re: "Voltage Stabilizer"?

they are useful for car audio guys who are competing and need the most out of their equipment at all times. power supplies in a majority of amps are unregulated, meaning they put out different power levels depending on voltage in. for anything else on your car, i don't see there being a major noticeable different or performance increase to justify the addition

Re: "Voltage Stabilizer"?

got a link of what you have in mind?

it sounds likethe "device" that has a small capacitor that gets plugged into the lighter socket, which is totally useless.
