Hey guys,
I desperately need a connector plug for a 97 firebird gauge cluster.
I'm swapping it into a custom dash in an 85 firebird, and have the gauges, but i can't solder wires onto it and really need the plug that goes in the back.

Now the kicker, i'm in oz, so no junkyards or car wreckers, and no places seem to sell the connector plug.

so does anyone have one they could post, just need the plug and an inch or two of wire from it. I can paypal and it's only small so shipping shouldn't be a problem.

if anyone can help out i'd reeally appreciate it.

I pulled two from the JY, one camaro one firebird. They look like TPI ECM connectors. According to this, the white firebird connector wont fit. Please count the number of terminals on your cluster

White is 24 pin, Black 32 pin, TPI has 2x 32 pins and a 24 pin

If any of these will work you can have them, just pay shipping. Otherwise, Ill hunt down a 14 pin connector on the next trip

It's a 2x17 (34pin) plug i'm after for the 97 firebird gauge cluster, i've put some pics here to see which one it is

 

Good to know they're duds before shipping them around the world. Ill keep my eyes out next trip. Probably will be a week or two

Got one finally, its from a firebird too. Poor car had a rough end. I think this was the last usable part on it
