Anyone know where to get the sending unit only for the 3rd gen Camaros without buying the whole 4 line setup? My sending unit went out and I can't find 1 anywhere. I added fuel injection to my 85 and it uses a external fuel pump which is fed with a 8 AN fitting installed in the bottom of the tank. I am using a 6 AN fitting for the fuel return line from the FI unit. I have ordered the VDO gas tank sending unit from Summit for 38.00. It is supposed to fit in place of the stock unit (?) and the unit is calibrated 0 to 90 OHMs as most Chevys are. I would like to keep the vent line for the tank on the stock unit if I can find a OEM sending unit. If not I will tap another hole into the top of the tank and run the stock vent line setup another way.

I could not afford to use autometer gauges and decided on Marshal SCX instead.
I have an LS1 tank and was thinking about using the VDO sending unit... This all adds up to about $420...

Before I order this, would you happen to know if it will install into the LS1 tank????
