Distributor Wiring
ok, So i've recently pulled my engine and completely rebuilt it. It's now in the car, and I'm getting all the wiring complete, however I've gotten everything else wired up except for the distributor. And the only connections I have left don't look like they would fit. I've looked to see if I connected something else wrong in the wrong port, but everything is different so that's not a possibility.
Any ideas? How can I go about just rewiring it? What does each wire mean coming out of the distributor?

Re: Distributor Wiring
You have the wrong distributor if that is a computer controlled setup - what you have pictured is a vacuum-advanced distributor and thus won't work with a computer controlled car.
I'm confused here because your sig states 305 TBI but there was none in 1987.
So, are you running a TBI setup? Or a TPI setup? or a carb setup? And iof carbed, is it factory carb (computer controlled), or aftermarket carb (like holley or edelbrock)?
