Windshit sield wiper motor
Ok, was driving my car today, it started raining really hard and SURPRISE....my windshield wipers didn't work. So I pulled over, and checked the fuse, and the wires. Everything looks good, fuse is good. So I can only assume the wiper motor went bad. Ok so now that you're up to speed, how do I change/fix this problem? I'm going to be honest, I don't even know where the windshield wiper motor is, or really how to change it lol. So if you can help me out with some info, or maybe even some pics...PLEASE I need some more help. Everyone on here's awesome, I know someone's got the info I need, thanks!

Re: Windshit sield wiper motor
All I know is the windshield motor is up next to the windshield, closer to the driver side. And I once fixed mine with a hair tie. LMAO!

Re: Windshit sield wiper motor
To change it you will need to take the cowl piece off. The mesh piece above the motor you see when the hood is open. Its held there with 1 or 2 7mm bolts and the rest is take a flathead screwdriver and pry you in certain areas as it is clipped in with push in clips. To memove the wiper motor you will need to remove the wiring and the wiper fluid line if yours is a internal pump. Afterthat you will see the back of the wiper motor attached to the wiper transmission. you will have to undo that bolt as its easier to do so before you remove the bolts from the engine side. should be just one nut on there and you will need to pry it off as it might be on there pretty good. After that there is 3 or 4 10mm or 11mm bolts on the engine side you will see that have to come out. Get those out and take it out. Easy stuff

Okay, so I put my new windshield wiper motor in today, and the damn wipers still won't work. The fuse is good, so what's the next step I need to take?!?
