INFL REST Question
The INFL REST light on the dash of my 92 Firebird stays on now instead of blinking 4-5 times and going off. I know it's for the airbag but what's the best solution to fix it? I haven't checked the fuse yet and hopefully that's all it is. Thanks for any info!

I've since checked the fuse and it's fine. What would make that light stay on???

Re: INFL REST Question
It is indicating a fault in the system. Could be ECM (airbag ecm) sensor, short, dirty of loose connection. Someone else will have to chime in on diagnosis, im not familar with ob1.

Re: INFL REST Question
There's a sensor on each side of the frame in the front to make the airbags deploy on impact. They get dirty over time (from what I found out) and will make the INFL light come on and also the air bags wont work. They just have to be cleaned (the easy part) but getting to them VERY HARD. Mine is still on and will be until someday.......

Re: INFL REST Question
I'm pretty sure it's the sensors located in the front on each side of the frame. I haven't had time to mess with it or get it checked out so just riding with the light on. No air bag I would guess but oh well........
