Power Door Lock Relays: How to
I finally got the power door lock relay for my 86 camaro! Now to install it. What do I need to install this? Is it plug n play or is there anything else involved in installing this relay? Thanks

Unplug/plug/play. Just be careful not to break any little plastic catches etc.

Done. Unfortunately, now it still doesn't work. The old relay was corroded it seemed and was just nasty looking compared to the new one.
The locks and unlocks click and they partially slide now, but hardly. Not enough to actually lock or unlock anything. Atleast it budges some and I know the relay was actually bad.

Your gonna have to clean the gunk off the door latch and lube up the
lock rods and latch assembly. The 25+ yo old grease and gunk is
preventing the rods and lock from sliding easily.
Clean them up good with wd-40 spray the lube them up with some
spray white grease.................

I've lubed up the entire door lol. I literally have opened up the doors 3 times to fix this crap. The only thing I have not done yet is remove the latches from the door and clean them. But I guess it is due for a degreasing, then re-greasing!
