194 Bulb WITHOUT Socket? #?

Does anyone here know the part number for the SOCKET itself?? I contacted 2 local GM Dealers and they could not even find out themselves and they are GM DEALERS??

It appears # 25089350 is the BULB AND Socket (1 piece soldered).

The problem is that they sent my cluster to Calgary to fix it and I had ordered $80 (after stupid taxes, duty, and shipping/handling) on LED's for the instrument cluster. I discover the company who they sent the cluster to has replaced with all 1 PIECE bulb/sockets and now these LED's are completely USELESS and I'm out $80!

After contacting the dealer they said nothing can be done and "york electronics" in Calgary won't ship my originals back.

So now I have no choice but to look for them on eBay!

Try Standard Motor Products part# S503A. The first digit is the letter "S", the second is the number five.

Type the part # into this website:

Only thing is that the S503A seems to be for a 1967 - 1987 Camaro online according to the compatible years listed.

could you send a photo of the sockets you have? quite often they can be reused with normal bulbs, the ones in there are just need to have their leads unsoldered from the bottom of the socket. I know I have bought these from my local advance auto before under the motormite/dorman/help brand, but no part number to give unfortunately.

91 92 cannot remove bulbs from sockets,u cant just unsolder, as the base is different. and there not really soldered more like tack welded, solder wont stick, been there done that. get bulb sockets from an older car.all gm use the same sockets for the most part.

Can't with these. There is a wire that is tack welled to each outside contact from the bulb. There is also little prongs inside that take up all the space. There are also no metal prongs inside where it would normally touch the prongs on the bulbs.

Do you need just sockets so you can install #194 wedge base LED replacements? I have a small assortment of some that I "borrowed" from the junkyard on certain visits. IIRC, the 90-92 cluster requires four lights to illuminate the gauges and a few more to illuminate indicators. I'm sure I could spare a few.

Something I just thought about!!

Try rotating the sockets 180*??

I hear some sockets have to be put in a certain way to get power.
Maybe it's just LEDs, IDK, worth a try???

& I owe you a nickel change..

What sockets are you needing? Pic? Only instrument 194s I've seen use separate sockets, not a combined bulb+socket in one.

48¢ each + shipping if you want new ones. They also sell packs of 194's or 359's if you want something brighter.. be careful with the 359's though, they get hot.
