Wipers/washer won't shut off after tilt steering repairs

Car: 88 GTA,87 GTA, 71 Karmann Ghi
Engine: 5.7 tpi /5.0 tpi
Transmission: 700r4 modified
Axle/Gears: borg warner 3.27
Wipers/washer won't shut off after tilt steering repairs
After the nightmare of re& reing the steering column of my 88 GTA to tighten my tlt bolts & thinking everything was working fine, I find when I turn on my wipers they won't shut off. As well the washer runs constantly & they only shut off after I cycle the key.
Obviously I've done something in there...maybe streached the wires on the shaft too far but?
Any ideas would be vastly appreciated.

I did crush a wire in the column...All day repair but done.
