Hayden 3651 Fan Control Relay Clicking
Hayden 3651 Fan Control Relay Clicking
Just installed the above on a '92 305 TPI. Everything is working as it should (turning on AC turns on fans, fans come on at about 180 degrees, adjusting screw on controller varies the on/off temperature point).
But, the relay clicks like crazy just before the fans come on or just after the fans shut off. I confirmed this by turning the adjusting screw--it I turn it so the fans come on--clicks stop. If I turn it so it would take a lot more temperature to turn the fans on--clicks stop.
I assume it isn't the relay itself because everything works as it should otherwise. Bad ground? Bad controller? Something else?
Thanks
