Hatch motor adjustment

The hatch motor does not " click " when closed.
Battery dies over night.
When I charge the battery, the hatch motor " sounds " like it still wants to pull down more.

Is there a way to adjust the travel so it does not want to keep pulling down??

Thank You for any tips!!!

Re: Hatch motor adjustment

Mark the location of the pull-down unit to the body using a permanent marker or scratch awl. Then loosen the three 13mm screws that hold it to the body, slide the pull-down frame up a bit, then tighten the 13mm screws. Markign the location before you move the pull-down unit helps you keep track of how much you've moved it.
