Okay, my car has the overhead roof console with the dome light button. For some reason my dome light will not work when I open my doors, but it will work when I push the button on the console. My footwell lights still work normally when the doors are open.

I'm thinking the problem is likely with that button since it does seem touchy (light will flicker when barely touching it), but I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas?

 

The dome light does not come on with the doors, only with the button.
