Electronics Need help wiring something up? Thinking of adding an electrical component to your car? Need help troubleshooting that wiring glitch?

Please identify this component

Transmission: 700R4 to modded TH400
Axle/Gears: 7.5" 4.10 to 9" 3.70
Please identify this component

I believe it is something electrical but not sure. Showing my ignorance. I have done some searching on TGO as well as the service manual but figure someone can probably answer this in about two seconds. I think it is the stock ignition coil but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance.

Looks like the actual motor part of the wiper motor unit to me. Coil has a spark plug wire onm it, and that doesn't.

Wiper motor or washer pump maybe?? As camaronewbie said the coil will have a spark plug wire going to it.

Right on thanks guys. I see it now. For some reason the shape was just throwing me off. Shoulda looked closer I woulda seen they were connected. Looks like a coil and since I'm using MSD ignition thought it might be the stock stuff.
