cruise control help needed

Car: 88 firebird formula
Engine: 305 tbi
Transmission: auto
Axle/Gears: 273
cruise control help needed

my car is bone stock 88 formula tbi , the cruise control just stopped working at any speed.. i so far have checked all the fuses and pulled down the cover to check the switch behind the break pedal i also traced the hoses back to the front behind the driver headlight and no leaks... also checked the tbi linkage any help would be great thankyou!

It could be a bad control lever. I believe you have to check the resistance at the connector, but It's been awhile...

i just rebuilt the servo behind the headlight just in case it was leaking air i cleaned the gasket area and put rtc around it and coated the screws and with a coat of super glue just in case air was getting out...i removed the needle pin and and metal plunger in the casing and cleaned the metal plunger and added some anti seize just in case. once back together it held air perfectly so as a secondary measure i put a jumper wire in the brake shut off switch...and nothing im kinda leaning towards the switch on the lever how in the world does the come out, please dont tell me the wheel stuff has to come out! is there a way to test it without removing it? thanks again!
