Help: A/C Comp.not engaging,blower & wipers

Hello all:

I have a problem where my a/c compressor stopped engaging, blower motor won't work and the wipers, thinking it was a fusible link, I checked them all and they are good, so i check power to wipers, blower motor and a/c clutch and they had power, so thinking it's a ground i tested the ground from the engine to the firewall and it seemed good, i decided to ground the casing to the wipers and voila, everything mentioned above that wasn't working ,started working, same thing happens if i ground the blower motor housing, where can the ground be to these items, all other electrical items work fine

. thank you guys!

No luck i injured my back at work so i haven't been able to figure it out. The last attempt i discovered that if i ground the casing to the wiper motor (metal part of course) they start working along with the a/c compressor, temporarily i have a wire grounding the motor. I am guessing its gotta be a common ground shared by both. let me know if YOU find out anything or if grounding the wiper motor to the battery works for you.

Back of right cylinder head I believe is one I'd check first. Another major ground is under steering column just to the left. You'll have to remove lower dash cover to get to that one.

Re: Help: A/C Comp.not engaging,blower & wipers

I have located the problem for my issue with the AC blower and the wipers. There was a single prone black connecter on the passenger side of the firewall on the outside front of the blower motor that was loose. I will post a pic of it. My AC starting blowing again as did my wipers work as normal again.

Is it the one next to the blower housing?

Hmmm i'll try that, although i could of sworn i checked that, unless its broken somewhere below the insulation, so your telling me that was loose and once you moved it wipers AND a/c started working again?

Yes. I moved that around while car was running with AC on and the wipers turned on.
After moving it around they turned on. I moved it again and they shut back off. I dont know why or what that wire does but it obviously controls those items somehow. So i ensured a good solid connection and wipers and ac work as advertised.

Tip, get some electric grease and dab some on the connector and terminal. I'll check this later this week, thanks for the help.
