Cleaning up the factory wiring harness for a carbed car

Hey guys I'm looking for a little help on this one. I want to completely remove all components of the TPI setup that I had to clean up the bay and correct some wiring issues with the car. From what I can tell the ECU sends the speedometer the signal from the trans and still controls the VATS. The car is a 91 Z28 with the 5.7 auto setup, recently converted to a T5. Can anyone shed some light on some type of work around for the speedo and VATS?

if you remove all the tpi stuff, are you converting to a carb? if so, the computer can go. youll need to bypass the start enable relay for the car to start. the speedo will still function fine without the computer iirc. it may need a little reworking on the wiring but im not 100% on that.

do a search on carb conversions, all those questions and more will be answered.

if youre not ditching the tpi, then I have no idea what youre trying to accomplish.

TPI has been gone for some time now. Just cleaning up the engine bay.

What do I need to do for the bypass on the start enable relay?
