NEED Helping Determining Problem Yet Again

Okay so car started fine this morning. Drove to gas station let car idle while I pumped gas no problem. Take off get to stoplight then bam everything shuts off. Pull to side the road. Pop the hood and I messed with my cables which were tight. Battery is new alternator is new so I don't know what's going on.
The headlights work fine, the interior dome light comes on yet there when I turn the switch none the gauges come on key buzzer stopped working and fuel pump doesn't come on.
It's like the car doesn't even recognize the key has been turned on. No voltmeter gauge movement. No buzzer nothing. Hazard lights won't work either.
I am so bummed I am just ready to be done with the car and get me an old faithful 4 banger. I had to walk to work this morning in the friggin cold after muscling my car or a small incline to get it out the entrance of a parking lot.
Anyone got any ideas?

Loud Pedal Is Silent

Sounds like an ignition circuit problem.

Using a voltmeter or test light
(the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the 12 gage pink wire out of the steering column when the key is in the RUN position.

Is there power there?

Happy Racing!

I'll do that, another person was having the same issue people told him sounds like one of the fusible links from the starter

Re: NEED Helping Determining Problem Yet Again

I feel like I'm never going to get this car running again this year and will have to wait till I can take it to a shop or my buddy that works in a shop.

Just when I finally got the iroc that I wanted and the way I wanted it to perform. Just My luck
