Hey guys,

84 T/A with 88 GTA style tail lights. PIcture included for reference on style of light though I will say this is NOT my car, just a picture I"m using for an example, pulled it from the interweb.

I was checking for burnt out bulbs tonight and having the wife run through all the lights. She turned them on, hit the brakes, put the car in reverse, left blinker then right blinker. Everything worked fine until she clicked the right blinker. Nothing happend It didn't blink at all. The light didn't even come on in the dash.

The turn signals are the same filiment on the bulb as the brakes and the brakes light up. I also clicked the hazzards on and the lights blink away just fine, so I'm a little baffled.

I was in the column about two weeks ago to tighten up the tilt as it got all crazy loose but everything had been working fine until tonight.

ANy ideas where to start looking? Any and all assistance is appreciated.

 

the blinkers and hazzards use diffrent flashers. id check to make sure the blinker flasher isnt dead. and double check all the grounds.

 

I have an update after troubleshooting it today. I'm 95% certain it's in the column. Everything in the rear is tight, no wires are loose. Switched bulbes, all that's good for whatever good that proves. As I turn the wheel, I find that the right signal intermittantly quits working. Ugh...I'm not looking forward to trying to find the wire that's loose in there.

 

could be the turn signal cam not in there right.

 

It's possible, or loose maybe. It worked fine after putting everything back together until the other day when it just quit.
