dash lights stay on

Transmission: auto,auto
Axle/Gears: 273?277
dash lights stay on

bought 90rs with bad engine.put 3.1 in with other parts.went to start it and the dash lights came on as soon as the battery was conected.with doors closed and key off battery conected dash lights and warning sound.turn key on and warning sound stops but dash lights stay on.they will dim down with turn of ****.I bought this car not running.so this is the begining of getting to know what I bought.Could it be the light switch asembly?

not even a guess what it could be?How many things are possible?headlight switch.open or closed door switch anything else? If I diconect the door buzzer and turn inter. dash lights off is there any reason the battery would discharge when not in use?

Found it!Light switch is loose and not turning the parking lights off all the way.
