odd dead battery?
Ok so heres the deal, ive had my iroc going on 2.5 years now and never had a problem with it, or messed with anything electrical in the car. The car sat for about a month due to winter so i thought id go out and start it and nothing. (this was last week) so i charged the battery and popped right off and let it run for awhile took it around the block and parked it again. I did notice i had no radio and a clicking coming from the speakers like a blown fuse maybe? I put the deck in last year, the car sat all winter last year and started like nothing in the spring and have never had a problem with the radio so idk if i blew a fuse when i tried cranking it over with a dead battery? Than today i went out to try it and there was absolutely nothing so idk where im getting a draw from? The hatch motor went out this summer so i just unplugged it and let it be. And right before i parked it this last fall i blew a foglight relay or fuse and i was too lazy to mess with it not sure if any of these things can lead to a power draw or what your guys opinions are? The alternator and battery are both fairly new?

Re: odd dead battery?
You will not blow a fuse because you tried to crank your car and the battery is dead. Also having a blown fuse inline will not draw and juice from the battery as if has no where to go. The connection is not there, hence blown fuse. You say you have had this battery for about two years now and both times in the winter you let it sit still attached to the car? That will kill the batter as things such as the computer always draw power. I would have your battery checked.

Remove your battery cable and just touch the battery to the cable and see if you get a little spark,if you do something is drawing on the battery.
