1985 T/A fog light question

Since I bought this car a couple of months ago, the fogs haven't worked. I checked and made sure the bulbs are there and in good condition. When testing, I make sure that the headlights are on and set to low beam but no dice on the fog lights working. I don't see a fuse for it in the fuse block. On the '86 wiring diagram a fusible link is shown in the circuit. Where is this located? I don't even see a fog light circuit on the 1985 wiring diagram from Austinthirdgen. Can anybody help shed some light on this (not trying to be cliche).

The fusible link is in your front lamps harness near LH side of radiator shroud. It is Fusible Link G on your car.

Re: 1985 T/A fog light question

Thanks for the schematic. Could the fusible link be my problem? Is there a common fuse for this circuit under the dash or within the switch? I only ask because there doesn't seem to be one in the fuse panel. The relay that I thought was for the fogs on the driver side fender near the brake booster is not the right one. It has two light blue wires going into it. So, I'm still stumped as to where the relay is!

If the fusible link is blown there won’t be power on the input to the relay.

There is no foglight fuse in your 85.

Most fusible links are near the battery and starter.

Use a voltmeter or test light
(the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) to ascertain.

Test for voltage with the car OFF.

The relay for an 85 is probably
* located in front of the windshield washer tank.

*The location changes on some model years.
